Catalog of granite fences

The grave plinth is an important part of the grave’s design. The structure is installed along the perimeter and, in addition to its practical functions, performs aesthetic ones, visually limiting the burial site. It can be of any shape: from simple beams to complex fences decorated with various elements. This will highlight the burial site against the general background and give the composition a finished look. Solidity, durability, and solemn beauty are the main reasons why our clients choose this particular method of funeral arrangement.

Practical significance

The durability and stability of the structure is determined by the installation technology – a foundation is required to install the base. It will serve as a reliable base for the rest of the decorative elements.

Installing a plinth will solve the problem of weeds: you won’t have to waste time fussing and clearing the area. You’ll spend time at the cemetery communicating with your departed loved one, and decorative flowers can be planted in a pot or in a specially designated area. It is enough to wipe the facing material with a damp cloth to return the burial to its original appearance.

The high cost of this type of improvement is offset by a long service life and high performance characteristics.

Material

The external “decorative” part can be made from several materials, the most common being granite and marble.

A granite plinth is a durable and long-lasting option. It is valued for its beautiful texture and color: in addition to the classic black, there are stones in red, gray, and brown shades. Artificial granite polymer is cheaper, but requires simple maintenance. If you follow simple rules, a fence made from it will serve for decades.

Marble is more demanding in terms of operating conditions, so it is used less often in its natural form. An alternative to it is cast marble – a composite material of artificial origin. It does not absorb water, is flexible and durable, which makes it a worthy competitor to natural stone.

At the customer’s request, the granite plinth can be supplemented with elements made of metal.
